Everything you need to know to keep your Medium Partner account safe

“I got my Medium Partner Program earnings in my bank account, but I also seem to have lost 11 followers.”

This is the message that I got from one of the writers in my 100 day challenge writing community and I have also gotten so many comments on my YouTube about people whose medium accounts have been banned.

So what is going on? Is Medium banning new writers? Is Medium stopping the new writers from earning money through the Partner Program?

What’s all this about and what is going on? If your account has been banned how can you deal with it?

I have 186,000 followers on the platform and I’m the editor of Books Are Our Superpower publication.

In today’s article, I want to talk about what’s been happening recently on Medium and why thousands of new accounts have been banned and if your account has been affected what you can do to deal with the same.

So without further ado, let’s dive right in!

You’ll notice most of them are meaningless fluff and don’t add anything to the article.

Dealing with such comments and writers who engage just for the sake of drawing money to particular accounts was the reason why Medium went on an account banning spree.

Let’s dive a little bit more into what this means.
